ADP is one of the largest payroll processors in the country, but there are other payroll companies. I wonder how do they account for growth or job loss at other payroll companies, or when companies change payroll processors? I know my previous company changed from ADP to Workday so that move alone made ADP lose many jobs when in fact those jobs were not lost.

I am sure they have a way to compensate for this, I am curious how they do it.
