The water is not even running through the faucet now. I am definitely changing the aecerator. Next question: what is the proper tool to remove the aecerator? I have been using a vice grip, the aecerator housing (not sure what to call that part) is slippery.

that, or channellock pliers. maybe make a wrap or two of either electrical or duct tape to cushion the jaws. they will still have a fair bit of grip from the tape.

Just finished watching DIY network video on fixing a leaky faucet. I did it right with the vice grip and a hand towel. The reason why the water was not running because I had tightened the aerator too much! All is good now. Thanks for all the tips guys. My weekend project is to fix our guest's bathroom hot water faucet. Now who has the time to watch TV based on the recent forum poll

did the rubber washer squeeze "out" and block the tiny ports? (or the o-ring crushed and did the same)
Mine are all hand-tight. I have a strong grip ;-)
