If the sugar...what does it *normally* have when made in the USA? Because en Mexico they make it with real sugar, the way Coca Cola was meant to be made. In 1980 or so, Coca Cola changed their formula in the US to switch from cane sugar to corn syrup. There's a definite difference. People noticed. Then came New Coke.... Re: I caved in... Not a Coke drinker, so take this info with a grain of salt! ![]() DM Around here they make two liter bottles with yellow caps for Passover; that is kosher Coca Cola. The ingredients list "sucrose" instead of corn syrup or sugar. And in fact, it tastes just like the corn syrup Coke (he says, having just finished off his second two liter bottle of it). No, the kosher Coke isn't the same as that which is hecho en Mexico. Re: I caved in... Reese's Peanut Butter Cup... High fructose corn syrup ... a chemical substance that will hopefully be viewed with the same ire as transfats in the not-so-distant future. Re: I caved in... Reese's Peanut Butter Cup... Why did they stop making them? Don't know about the PB. Older Crunchy? Those are new in my life, late '70's, early '80's timeframe. http://www.typetive.com/candyblog/item/reeses_line/ BGnR Re: I caved in... Reese's Peanut Butter Cup... I am using the "OUR" meaning non-native americans, corn is a new world crop that has been really genetically messed with. BGnR Re: I caved in... Reese's Peanut Butter Cup... Re: I caved in... Reese's Peanut Butter Cup... Reese's Peanut Butter Cup... YUM... - Carthaigh - 04-03-2007 I like the white chocolate Reese's the best. Need to try the TJ's cups though. Re: I caved in... Reese's Peanut Butter Cup...
