Why on earth would you say that? They are identical except for a slightly faster clock speed, faster optional DVD burner, slightly better graphics card and the appearance of the ram slot issue with the 1.5/1.67.

I have the original 1ghz 17" Powerbook and it had to go back for repairs about 5 times with problems rangeing from the sound card to the motherboard. If I hadn't bought Appple care I would have spent about half the price of a new powerbook on the repairs.
