10.4 would run mighty fine on those iBooks. No real need for 10.5 if you absolutely require Classic for some odd reason.

Yeah, 10.4 runs great on even the 1GHz G4 iBooks with only 512MB of RAM - boost them to 1.25GB and you've got very capable machine. Not really worth $700 but a decent machine nonetheless.

I think they've mispaced the decimal point.
Last year, the OWCiBook G3 for $45 was a bargain.
But not an iBook G4 for $700!
