My queue is stuffed full. 450+ movies and TV shows that I have never seen. It will be years until I even make a dent. I'm on the 1 at a time, unlimited times per month, plan. I can only get about 5-6 movies a month if I move them quickly while at home. Re: Netflix unveils device that lets users stream movies - Article Accelerator - 05-20-2008 [quote Zoidberg]I was just going to post this. Having been a Netflix subscriber for a while, I think I may just bite on this one, though I think I'll wait until some user reviews. http://www.roku.com/netflixplayer/ Unfortunately for my AppleTV purchase plans, this is a more attractive option. If Apple had a subscription model for video (a la Netflix)... The Roku: - is streaming only, i.e. no hard disk for caching, and is therefore susceptible to interruptions and delays - supports, at best, lower-than-DVD resolution video, mostly in 4:3 aspect ratio - no surround sound - is a dedicated device, i.e. supports no other functions than to download Netflix movies - requires an Internet-connected computer in order to set up a movies queue Don't waste your money, Z.
