My wife got an implant for a pulled tooth, and loves it. Yes, terribly expensive and yes, it takes a lot of time, but certainly well worth it.

I have had a few root canals, and cant remember paying too much. At least the insurance covered that. I guess I could just average the cost of everything I have had done..

I don't know where you are but, in North Carolina, there is a stretch of road with a number of dental specialists that do implants all at once. The usual method is 12 ~ 18 months. I knew a few people (over the road truckers) who went this route and, were very happy with the results. A Google search will turn up several leads (I'm no longer in touch with these truckers).

Fix your teeth.

The mouth is the gateway to many heath issues. The stress from tooth problems cause very gradual complications and once you realize you're in trouble, it is too late. For example, off bone alignment can cause pain, headache, leading to poor eating, which can lead to a host of other situations. Which will send you running to many doctors, never mind just the dentist now.

Find a better price, but get it done. It doesn't seem so bad now, but it will later.

Just like the economy . . .

Had it done this a.m. At least the process started, and what I beleive ws the hardest part. Now I get to go back in to make sure it looks good, and then wait weeks while it heals.
