1. Copy the entire iTunes folder (containing the iTunes folder, Library.xml, etc.)

2. Hold down the option key while starting up iTunes.

3. Select "Choose Library" and navigate to the new location of the complete iTunes folder.

It's really quite simple.

The only way to do it reliably is to follow the procedures specified in WHiiP's links.

Nope--your method will not always result in a complete and reliable restoration.

The folks who think this is simple probably have all their music copied into their iTunes folder. I mostly use full AIFs so I'm not about to do that.
