iPhoto allows you to crop it to the correct dimensions. Just select the "constrain" box.

You people are all AWESOME!!! Thank you so much. StingMe, your graphic screen captures REALLY help explain what I need to exactly do. Are you a teacher? You seem to have a way of explaining things in a really easy going sort of way. I appreciate that. However, all of you have chimed in here ... thank you.
