If you use a lot of weed killer, look for "Glyphosate 41%" at a lawn and garden or farm/ag store. It's the generic for Roundup and I have found the 2-1/2 gallon jugs for $60 or less. It mixes 2-1/2 oz. per gallon of water and works as good as Roundup. That makes a lot of spray.

I also buy the cheap liquid soap at Dollar General and put a squirt in a 2 gallon sprayer to act as a surfactant. Seems to make it stick to the shiny leaves.

What I used was a generic Glyphosate weed killer that I got several bottles of at Lowes a couple of years ago. It had that same formulation as Roundup and was a lot cheaper.

I do have a lot of weeds in my day lily beds. Preen would take way too much time to cover the whole area, but I'm sure it would help a lot. I did spray through the fence onto my neighbors fine crop of poison ivy. I considered that the neighborly thing to do. Smile

A while back, I bought a Clorox product (I think it was Greenworks spray cleaner). The sprayer was terrible. More wasted product dribbling down the bottle than sprayed where needed. I transferred the cleaner to another spray bottle. Overall, the product is disappointing. I won't buy it again. I suspect the sprayer is junk made in China. I seem to see more and more poorly made products making their way here from China. That's an opportunity for some enterprising soul.
