It does allow you to refer to other machines on the network by "\\machine_name.local", however, in the NetPlaces dialog boxes. Thanks-- I think I mentioned above that I'd done that. Thanks for the detailed instructions-- will come back to them if I decide I absolutely have to be able to go to the macs from the netbook. |
