If it's not too late - I had one of these also, and was MUCH happier with it compared to the TrafficJamz.
Use coupon code "EFWS092110" to cut the price to $8:

My advice in that thread was to walk away from FM transitters as well as cassette adapters and just replace the radio with a model that has a face mounted AUX-In jack. More expensive than either an FM transmitter or a cassette adapter but vastly superior. Since the other car has an AUX-IN jack, then you already know from experience about the benefits.

My vehicle is fine... so is my wife's ... However, the work vehicle I've been using only has a CD player and replacing the stereo isn't an option.

I used to have a Griffin iTrip for my 40GB iPod Photo... it worked pretty good IMO. Not that great but pretty good.

I was quite happy with the sound quality of the original iTrip:
The later version (with lcd display) seemed bad (in terms of sound quality) in comparison - I remember reading somewhere that the original iTrip had a stronger signal strength than later models.
The transmitter I recommended above I would rate nearly as good as the original iTrip, better than later iTrips, and much better than the TrafficJamz. It also remembers the frequency you select after being powered off (another ding against the TrafficJamz - and also quite annoying).
