When I needed to take my MacPlus apart to clip the resistors and up the RAM, I had to have the torx end welded onto a long handled screwdriver shaft. There were no long shaft torx to be had back then. Steve Jobs' effort at assuring the Mac would be an appliance and not a hacker's heaven like the Apple II with it's slots. Much much easier to find now than only 5 years ago. |
