RadioParadise. They are the source for my love of Cashew Hill Jungle Lodge in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica. The rumor was that the owners of RadioParadise wanted to buy Cashew Hill and operate from there, but they couldn't get a reliable enough internet connection and electricity. They loved the location though. So they gave away a vacation package as a promotion on their show in cooperation with the owners of Cashew Hill Jungle Lodge. I didn't win, but I did fall in love with the idea of visiting the lodge. I took my wife there for her birthday/valentines day/anniversary and we had the best vacation ever.

Oh, and RadioParadise's iPhone app has an alarm clock also, so you can wake up to an internet radio station on your iPhone. They also have a button that you can click on that will link to iTunes and let you purchase the album. The sale benefits the commercial free radio station with a slice of the profits.

iTunes has two baroque stations (www.radionomy.com) and (www.1.fm) that I like to listen to this time of year.

From what I can tell, there is no way to quickly search on iTunes to find a specific station, even if you know its name or call sign. The only way to search is to go to a genre and scroll down the list. Tough if you don't know the genre, but only have the name. Non-revenue for Apple, so I guess they don't think it's important.

Does anyone know a better way to find stations on iTunes?

Thanks.

I've been liking ORSRadio.com Classical

It really is not classical but is a more broad mix.

Off to try radio.paradise and see what THAT is all about!
