You make it sound like it was some distant time in the past...I'm still allowed to go outside and play.

Freedom is being able to get by without a motor vehicle.

I assume you were drying your hair? Even before the helmet laws were passed, I (almost) always wore a helmet; except when taking a ride to dry my hair... it's amazing how many old guys can relate to the "dry by bike" method... of course I gave up riding long before helmet laws were passed, but still keep the license active, even though it's been physically impossible to ride for well over twenty years... but those blasts from the past are sure refreshing.

Yep.

That bike used to sit in the lobby of Bandley II like it was a museum piece, along with the first CD player I ever saw (this was around 1983), some huge electrostatic speakers, and a Bosendorfer grand and some arcade games. I think Steve like to provide toys to his star employees so they wouldn't be tempted to go home at night. There were cots in some offices. Showers too, but it was obvious some of the socially challenged among them didn't know what they were for.

In all honesty, he does not look all that 'good' on the bike. Perhaps it's just the riding position of that bike. I dated a girl that had a BMW that might have been nearly the same year/model. Oh, I'm glad I don't date her now. Smile

Who wrote "freedom's just another word for nothing else to lose"?

I might not be as young as I once was, but I'm still free. (Don't charge anything) :oldfogey:
