They may just not give a rat's patootie any more. It's not like those forums are helping their web site any. I know nobody here ever thinks about it but there IS a web site there.

Maybe they're redoing the forums again.
They haven't done anything significant with the forums in a few years. A lot of the links were broken, especially in the list view.
Other deals sites have the forums integrated a little better with the deals page, allowing forum members to comment on and vote-up or vote-down the deals on the front page.
Maybe they're fixing it.

They need to do something. The "deals" section was getting maybe one post a week, if that, which is pretty sad for a site with "deal" in its name.

Nobody was posting except in the unfriendly section. But it may be that they are adding another dozen or so forums. You know, to make it even more popular.
