Filed Federal on Tuesday and State just tonight.

Usually April 1 or the weekend before.
I've also done them in January and left the envelopes sitting in the out box forever.

This year I have been extremely busy , did the business ones with an accountant and figured I'd do my own personal ones this year.
I got a May 11 flood extension, so I can procrastinate still. :-)

Automatic extensions like that are weird.

I got automatic extensions when I was stationed overseas. It was either for 1 or 2 months. I don't remember which it was. I of course had no need for the extension since I got all of my tax paperwork at the same time I would have if I were in the United States.
