....though you can borrow from some 401ks, the consensus by most (not all) financial advisors is not to do so.
people mistakenly believe it is better because you are 'basically' borrowing from yourself and paying the interest back to yourself, HOWEVER, you are also losing out on the potential for capital gain on the 401k had you left the money alone.....
