I knew there had to be some explanation as to why a turbine disconnected from its fuel and ignition source was running. Because in the afterlife, dead stuff is alive.

Why the anger?
Is it because the ending was actually what you though the show was all meant to be about in the first episode of series one?
Lost's problem was that they ran it for too long.
It got way, way too convoluted for the simple ideas that it was based on.
Two, maybe 3 seasons tops because as it was they had to keep twisting it around on itself just fill the episodes.
But hey, it's a television show. It's not meant to be art, it just meant to fill up the space between the ads so that you aren't transmitting dead air.
