Democrats are getting desperate if the only dirt they can find is that their
opponent dressed up as a nazi for some reenactment. I remember playing
cowboys and indians as a kid. Nobody wanted to be an indian. That's just
how it was. But we all came home for supper, and forgot all about it. If
this is all the Democrats have, they are not only looking like fools, they
are in for a thumping.

You forgot to say that you can't get into this particular reenactment group unless your daddy is loaded and has significant political influence. Membership in the Bohemian Club is generally de rigeur.

In an appearance on "Fox News Sunday," Cantor (the lone Jewish Republican in the House) said he "would absolutely repudiate" Rich Iott, the Republican nominee for Ohio's 9th District who apparently had an affinity for donning a German Waffen SS uniform.
"What we have got now is a new crop of young leaders energized to go to Washington for the right reasons," said Cantor. "Now Debbie [Wasserman Schultz, Cantor's co-panelist] went and launched into her attacks as to some of the reports about candidates that are running, particular the one in Ohio having to do with Nazi re-enactment. She knows that I would absolutely repudiate that and do not support an individual who would do something like that."

There ARE WWII reenactors who stage battles the same way Civil War reenactors do. And yes, there are some who dress up in German uniforms.
I'm impressed at the 'out of context issue' campaign that the Democratic party seems to be engaging in. It's an aggressive dip into the mud puddle that the Republican party doesn't seem to be matching.
I also love how the actual issues facing this nation are completely irrelevant. Yet again.

What on earth are you talking about. The OP notes that a rabbi is complaining about it, and three posts up is a quote indicating that some house republicans are getting their panties in a twist about it. Where is there any discussion of the democratic party?

Huh ? He's got an apparent hobby of being a re-enactor. Probably dressed up as a Scotsman (like the gent in the kilt) in the next battle. So you're saying that when someone wears an outfit, the outfit defines them ? Should I post that famous Obama photo when he visited his father's home village in Africa ?
