I think I'll drop Watch Instantly. The streaming selection is really bad IMHO so I hardly ever use it and there is plenty of other free material that I can access easily through Plex. However, the two disk deal still seems good so I'll probably keep that. Streaming was a freebie that was dropped on top of the disk rental service. Something had to give eventually. I'd keep streaming service if the selection was any good.

I just watched the top gear arctic special. I don't think that's even on DVD. It was on Neflix streaming in HD.

As a supplement to tv, it's a shite deal now. As others have mentioned, the streaming selection is less than stellar when it comes to adding new films of substance. F 'em. I still think RedBox is going to be the beneficiary of this (and Apple could be a wildcard at some point).

I was a subscriber for many years. When they throttled me down to practically no turnaround I quit them. Must have been 8 - 10 years ago. Once in a while I'll stream something from Amazon to my TiVo. The quality is just so so. Thinking about going back to Netflix. Do they rent Blu Ray disks?

With the price increase, seriously thinking about dropping the DVD option. I'm really surprised Netflix doesn't give you any discount if you have streaming plus DVD.

We're still thinking about it.
We may drop the DVD and just go with streaming, we use the streaming at the gym but our connection at home is too slow for streaming.
