If you haven't installed Lion already... - RAMd®d - 06-17-2012

Move the Installer out of the Applications folder first.

Otherwise it will go away after you install Lion.

Then you can right click on the installer and copy the Install ESD from the Resources folder in the installer so you won't have to download it again.

1. buy an 8 GB or 16 GB USB "thumb" drive



2. use Carbon Copy Cloner or SuperDuper! to make a clone (bootable copy) of your hard drive before you install or migrate any accounts.

3. now you'll have a bootable emergency drive.
