Re: Greetings from Saddleback hospital... - OWC Jamie - 09-26-2016 Oh man you're missing a fantastic breakfast too. Chef's special today, only for restenosis patients : ![]() Re: Greetings from Saddleback hospital... - wave rider - 09-26-2016 GeneL wrote: Thanks but, that's a laugh. I'm a bacon and eggs guy, never mind the clogged arteries! But not, so far, this morning! That is what makes the steel cut oats contest so tough! I do enjoy the bacon, eggs, sausage, and gravy breakfast a lot too. My cooking skills just are not so advanced... Re: Greetings from Saddleback hospital... - $tevie - 09-26-2016 Hang in there, Gene! I think you have made very sharp decisions so far and I trust that you and your cardiologist will work things out for the best. Re: Greetings from Saddleback hospital... - Rick-o - 09-26-2016 Bah! If they won't feed you, order a pizza! I think they even deliver! Keep a stiff upper lip, and all that jazz. I'm confident they will patch you up just fine. Re: Greetings from Saddleback hospital... - pipiens - 09-27-2016 Hang in Gene. Hospitals are dangerous places, Re: Greetings from Saddleback hospital... - mrbigstuff - 09-27-2016 Agreed with billb, make a bumrush out the door of that place. After, of course, you have done what you need to do. We'll get you through this. I mean, really, who else is going to post that pic of Allesandra. Re: Greetings from Saddleback hospital... - GeneL - 09-27-2016 Good news this morning. My BP and heartrate are normal! I'm on a Heparin drip and will be on monitored Coumadin for some time after I go home. Probably soon after the IV Heparin is finished. I'm desperate for a shower, but no go until I'm off the IV. So far, things are looking a lot better. Thanks for the positive energy everyone has been sending my way. I'll post an update after I see the doctor, later this morning.
