Having the option of a light interface is a very smart move. I wish some of the other graphics app developers would wise up.

Could they have called it anything else besides "Publisher"? Makes me nervous... =)

OK, just opened a supplied PDF file from a vendor, done in ID. Missing a font (expected) and the links seem to be embedded... but editable.

One thing I wish it had that Quark does -- is the ability to drag the side of the box to resize... without needing a seperate tool.

It looks like it could be a true replacement for ID/quark -- but mass implementation would be key to its success.

I noticed all the Affintiy Photo comments are software sybscription haters... and spouting some misinformation... so will have to see what this brings.

It’s still a beta but so far I’m concerned they are off to a good start.

You joke, but I find "Publisher" unsettling as well. I'm probably the perfect candidate for this as I rarely use ID anymore. I'm still on 5.5 and not planning on upgrading anytime soon, but I spent so much time on it in past projects that I'm afraid to give it up!

I'm buying it as soon as it is available. I really like this company and will continue to support them by buying any new applications they develop.

Ditto.
