Re: Webcam compatible Canon T6 ($269), T7 ($299) both with 18-55 & 75-300 lenses - robfilms - 06-09-2020 pRICE cUBE wrote: not to be rude but to followup your point, most of the cameras discussed are "cropped" sensor, they are less in size than "full frame". google the terms for a more full explanation. canon's crop factor is 1.6. nikon and sony's are 1.5. no real difference. one is not better than the other. using the example of a 50mm lens on a crop sensor canon body will result in a field of view that will look like 80mm lens (50 x 1.6). on a sony or nikon body that same 50mm will offer a field of view that looks like a 75mm. on a full frame camera which has no crop factor, the 50mm lens will represent a 50mm field of view. this is all information. one is not better than the other. sometimes having the longer tele fov (field of view) is what you want. sometimes a wider fov (50mm) is what you want. i hope the above offers some info that is helpful. thumbs up. rob |
