Sorry to hear, that truly does stink. I've done that accidentally and it hurts like holy hell, especially when you do it twice in a short period. Hope you can get it figured out, fast. Good thoughts your way!

One of the perverse facts of the universe; once you have bitten your lip, it will swell up and make it even more likely to be bitten again. Only far more painfully.

Yikes! Been there, and done that!
Another fun one is biting the back of your tongue with a molar. I've done this several times in my life and it's waaaay worse that biting the tip of your tongue.
