just don't do what my Cuban father-in-law did and name the black one Negro. He was quickly informed that was not a good idea.

I think in most other Spanish speaking countries, that would be NEH-grow.
Either way, probably not the best choice outside those countries.
Morena might be an option.
Well, if one of the cats were female, or chose to be non-binary.
I once worked with a woman named Morena, a lovely name.

We've decided that names are going to be a work in progress but here's what we have so far -
Toyo (black kitty)
Boba Fett (star wars reference) / Boba (name for the bubbles in bubble tea) / Bo (my short version)

True cat's names are ALWAYS a work in progress
-DNever had one yet that didn't go through a boatload of names during their time here on earth … one or two will likely stick, or more likely become part of a much longer "real name"…

The one in the Tux is obviously James... The other one is obviously Felix. Maybe they'll get all the girls, and martini's shaken (not stirred)...
Or, the Tuxie is Hook, and the black one is Booze.
