I have the 3 sections of progressive lenses, the middle is supposed to be for the computer.
I do try to look through the top when going down stairs.
I wore contacts for years, with no issues. Now at 48, the contacts were blurring my reading field of vision. I can read without glasses, but the phone book is easier with the smallest power of readers.
I have a slight astigmatism also, my main problem was nearsightedness.
