Yeah, but that's an easy one...
A Colt model 1911 .45!

Can't buy them in LA County anymore.
Hand Cannon!
Also picked up four 15 round clips, and two 30 round clips. Yep, also illegal.

Written any stories or plays lately you'd let us read, Rusty?
How about more info, or less crunch smoking?
What are you babbling about?

I see what JB is trying to do!

I've never liked the Glock striker ignition. I think you should have at least one more pull before the Tap, Rack, Boom.

And I've always been a fan of the 1911-As, have three of them, various Colts. I never got around to getting a .40 Hi-Power, and regret it. I've had the chance to shoot one a few times and like it. And Condition 1 is my favorite.

But the Sig feel perfect, and fire heat-seeking rounds. I've trained a lot, and as good as I thought I was, the Sigs made me better, from the 226 to the 220. My favorite is the 229 in .40, but I like the .357 Sig as well, and a couple of local constabularies use that as the duty round.

Were it my call, of the two, I'd go with the 239.

The fact you don't get my joke is hardly proof that I'm on drugs, Rusty.

The "FACT" is that no one got your "alleged" joke is the funny part.

BGnR
Your right, no proof is needed for your self abuse, your missives speaks volumes!

Re: Sig or Glock? - Jp! - 05-19-2007

Well, I might just have to scrutinize all 6 of those Sigs and pick the best one.

Re: Sig or Glock? - Paul F. - 05-19-2007

Pick the best two, keep the best one, hold the other for a year until there are no more police surplus ones on the market, add $200 to the price, and put it on consignment at a local gunshop... sell it, and now you have enough for the Glock too. :-)

Re: Sig or Glock? - RAMd®d - 05-19-2007

I got two hk Mk 23s, one to shoot, one to sell.

Great guns (npi), but I'm afraid to look at the going rate since hk brought out two similar, much more affordable versions.

Only speculate with money you can afford to lose.

Re: Sig or Glock? - Jp! - 05-19-2007

this same Gander has two different kinds of HK PM7, too. $1100, and $1400. Rarely do I see one, but they have TWO. When I took my first class, one guy next to me brought/trained with his PM7. I thought nothing of it at the time. The instructor seemed interested in it, though. It is the most unique pistol EVER, imo.

Paul...if you want to do a FFL transfer, let me know! Smile I just bought something for MICROCHIP13 and shipped it. I don't mind! Smile The P225 is 'low cap' = CA approved, too. It's got a 8 rd mag capacity.
