He's mentioned it a couple of times here, but I can't think of a single keyword regarding them. Re: The Widescreen takeover. I ended up buying a used ACD. Soooo glad I did. Say what you will but the Apple displays are beautiful. I also have a (5 year old?) 17' Apple Studio Monitor that is still chugging along, looking good. Re: The Widescreen takeover. Are regular monitors a thing of the past? - kj - 09-25-2008 I don't like widescreen. When doing the more pedestrian computer stuff, it seems there is always a big chunk of unused screen on the right. The reason they went widescreen was that they get a lot more 19" widescreen panels per sheet of panel than they do 4:3 19". Widescreen is so much more awesomer: http://forums.macresource.com/file.php?1,file=280,filename=Sharp_PC1211_System_s2.jpg kj. Re: The Widescreen takeover. Are regular monitors a thing of the past? - Mike V - 09-25-2008 The bad thing is that a PC is under the desk running it. No Macs allowed at work. |
