Re: OT: Everyone here seems to love giving car-buying advice. - Donkey Hotay - 03-23-2006 Scion xB has amazing interior seating. Test drive one first, though. It's a great little "city box" and decent for 300-600 mile roadtrips that don't involve lots of hillclimbing. You have to like a stiff suspension, too. 8-) Re: OT: Everyone here seems to love giving car-buying advice. - wurm - 03-23-2006 Thanks for all the suggestions thus far. Headroom is not a problem, even with the sunroof. It just feels a little cramped. And to be honest, since my left leg has been in a cast up to the knee for a couple of weeks, I haven't even attempted to get in the car. That would be impossible and that's when I appreciate the MPV. As for resale/trade-in value, I know I'd make more selling privately (if I even decide to get rid of it), but the hassle factor makes up for any extra money I'd make versus trading it in towards something else. ![]() Taxes and insurance will be factors if I do get a new vehicle. Damn. I hope they can add extenders. Re: OT: Everyone here seems to love giving car-buying advice. - mikebw - 03-24-2006 i'll give you 10 bucks for it... How about leg surgery, you know- make 'em shorter? |
