The author of this book had an excerpt online http://www.suite101.com/discussion.cfm/verbal_emotional_abuse/111791 that described my old cult leader and his MO in such an uncannily accurate way, I thought it worthwhile to read more by him. I had formerly though my old cult leader was a psychopath or sociopath, but those labels never fit him very well IMHO. So now you know.
