I think the jury is still out on that one. Looks like it may need a good stiff dose of chlorine to clear that water up, and maybe they need to backwash the filter, but something did the job on Sayid, and right now we don't really know who/what that was.

...but rememeber what Miles said to Sayid......he was dead for 2 hour so whatever brought him back....it wasn't them (the people in the Temple -thus not due to the jacuzzi)......

Jacob was leaning over the pool last week when Hurley bumped into him. Maybe Jacob fixed the plumbing.

I agree. As seen in last night's episode, Sayid does not want to be with Nadia if he is unworthy of her. Putting all this blood on his hands just to have her back doesn't make sense. Nadia isn't coming back. Dead is dead. He knows Locke is lying. Sayid is just playing along. Someone's gotta knock some sense into Sawyer later on

Don't underestimate Sawyer, or Sayid. I think they are both playing along with UnLocke and are biding their time. Sawyer, as pointed out, is a conman and is nobody's fool. I still am not sure what resurrected Sayid; maybe Jacob did indeed drop a chlorine tab or two into the Jacuzzi of life last week.

I'm only going by "impressions" from last week's episode. I didn't see anything in those scenes with Sawyer and Locke that made it seem like he's playing along. No pauses. No second looks behind Locke's back. On the contrary,, there was that scene where Locke saved Sawyer when that ladder collapsed to gain Sawyer's trust.
Sawyer has only cared about his own interests. He opened up once to truly fall in love and she was taken away. He wants off this hell hole of an island. He knows it's possible. Locke can help him. That's my impressions.

What about when he pointed the gun at UnLocke's head as he related the "Of Mice and Men" story? Also remember when he was talking with Richard and then denied that he was talking with anyone, when UnLocke came back. I agree that Sawyer is looking out for Sawyer, but I don't think he has gone all evil, he is just playing along for his own best interest, getting off the island. Also remember that Sawyer could see young Jacob and that he new that UnLocke wasn't Locke, even before Smokey told him he wasn't Locke.
