No Vesa mount, and I'm not sure my mini would be interested in driving it.

The 27" iMac Can be mounted on a VESA arm: http://www.flickr.com/photos/smilemark/4162362917/in/photostream/

I bet the mini would drive it, but I don't know for certain and besides, that's a waste of an iMac.

A computer monitor makes a better viewing device because of the greater pixel density compared to any (or most) TV sets. More, smaller pixels than that of a TV set.

OK,OK, one more factor.
The monitor is on an arm mounted to a 112 year old window frame and I'd like to keep the weight to a minimum.
So far a 24" TV seems to no be over stressing it; an iMac would be =out= and I'm hoping a simple 27" monitor with no speakers or TV hardware won't be much heavier than the current 24."
