mick e's going to go out and try to drum up some new work now.

Special this week - nice basic website design for $829.

Sorry if I missed it, is it a glass screen? Whatever, I want one.

"Jailbreak" the iPad to route 3G cellular over the built-in WiFi.

Then you get "unlimited" (5GB/month) of tetherable (via WiFi) broadband for $30 (half the price of the official tethered 3G)

I'm in.

Pondering 3G, though.

3G vastly increases the utility, but how often would you actually need it? At least that is what I am thinking... I like that the 3G data plan is relatively cheap and has no contract, so you could try it and then cancel whenever.

And so we wait.

the video is nice but the audio is unbalanced to me.
or perhaps even unmixed.

There are going to be a ton of little OS touches that will continue to amaze us (or me, most importantly) as time goes by.

Has anybody watched Apple's video? Mail.app shows a list on one side and the selected email on the right. Turn the iPad and the list goes away and the email is full screen. Turn it back and the list comes back. Way cool, so Apple.

Yeah, mostly right channel. At first I was thinking out of phase because the voices were not in the center.

Seriously starting to wonder why I have a desktop and laptop, instead of desktop and iPad.

How much is a MBP Late 2008 worth?

It looks great, though I'm a bit disappointed in the lack of multi-tasking and I simply cannot imagine what possessed them to exclude a frakking camera. This would be the PERFECT iChat device, if only! WTF are they thinking? Is this something that AT&T is preventing them from doing to stop us from having videochat capability (same as the iPhone)?
