Hers related to a backup in case of another tragedy, his could be interpreted as a call to violence. Neither was tactful, but only one is unlawful. So here's your "argument": since Clinton used the word "assassination" and Trump didn't, what she said was at least as bad or worse. There is no consideration of context to that.
