Nobody's mentioned how Obama set up the presidential podium, carpet with presidential seal and teleprompters to address a sixth grade class in some middle school a couple weeks ago.

Usually paid hacks keep quiet about stuff like this. Some even do it for free.

Can people please stop taking her seriously ? True conservatives are going to continue staying away in droves.

cbelt, I WISH people would stop taking her seriously. Unfortunately True Conservatives are being drowned out by those who do take her seriously, and there are a lot of them. The ones who praise her for being "genuine" despite the fact that she is as phony as they come, or the ones who praise her for being "just like we are" even though she couldn't reason her way out of a paper bag.

I truly hope there really are droves of True Conservatives left, the reasonable ones who care more about the country than scoring cheap political points. If they can put forward one of their own as a candidate I'd love to take that candidate seriously instead of the bimbo. Maybe Scott Brown will emerge as that candidate; I guess we'll see.

When GW Bush first ran for president I never thought it possible that he could actually be elected. He was of course and the lesson is that, as frightening as the prospect is, it's possible for Palin to be elected too. If that happens we are in deep shit as a nation. The Democrats what's left of the moderates in the Republican party had better be taking her seriously and planning ways to counter her.

When it comes to sarah palin, I say "whither thou goest, so goest I" she represents the honest aversion
of the american people to the ongoing socialism of the democrat party. The reason that liberals are afraid
of Sarah is really quite simple. They (Dims) recognize that Sarah speaks the language of the common
working man and woman. And they are stimulated by it. After all, she (Sarah) came from the working
class of America, married a working man, and has never Forgotten her roots. People naturally gravitate
to her. And this is why liberals are terrified of her. They know that if they can't destroy her, she will
destroy them.

At least my post (8 up) stays on the mark.

Sadly, as the documentaries (FrontLine and others made by filmmakers NOT Michael Moore types) have
shown, DieBold and a conspiracy of just enough did it twice - even managing to get Kerry to throttle
a lawsuit over New Mexico that was ready to file the second it showed he would lose the state.

He just gave up, despite exit polls in multiple states showing just the opposite.

Like the programmer who wrote the program for FL machines to log votes for Bush instead of Gore,
testified to it, but nothing came of it, and he has been running every two years for that seat as a
result of righting what he may have brought forth.

Palin is a functionally illiterate ignoramus who is dragging the GOP over the cliff of extremism. A literate and intelligent opposition is vital for democracy to flourish and she is the antithesis of either of those qualities.

Ah, so thoughtful of you. I can just see tears running down your cheeks. Since when you have been looking after Republicans?

I'm scared of Sarah Palin. Please, whatever you do, don't make her your presidential candidate in 2012. The democratic party will never recover.
