[quote herbiesyufy]Look, Elmo, you can hold your prick all day and it won't change the fact that you're a scumbag.
And there you go again, calling names and attacking me personally.

If that's the only way you know how to have a discussion...well, you've shown yourself enough times here.

[quote herbiesyufy]But the condiments are out there to FLAVOR the drinks, not to BE the drinks.
Please define at what point you think they are using too much? Guess what- that is arbitrary. If Starbucks wanted to limit the amount of Half and Half that people get then they can hand out 1 little sealed cup and charge extra for any more. The last thing I need after paying $4 for coffee is counter help looking over my shoulder watching how much free condiment I use.

"Sorry, only one scoop of sugar sir."
"Sir, you'll have to put that third napkin back."

[quote herbiesyufy]Half-and-half isn't free, and soon we will ALL pay increased prices due to this abuse.
Personally, I would love for them to charge for condiments. But, I support toll roads too.

Your actually serious about this, huh? Wow, I don't even know what to say.

No, Elmo...my point was made clearly and succinctly in my first post on the topic.

Everything afterwards is only stating the obvious.

Now, go get your ghetto latté, your McNuggets and your Wendys Biggie meals.

God, it must be awful being you. Judging from your diet. Ahem. I'm just sayin'.

I remember being in Portland, OR and reading about some poor local coffee shop that complained they could pay no more than minium and no way health benefits. Starbucks was out of line providing such. Yup.

yeah. The only way he knows how to put forth a position is to accuse his opponents of blatantly illegal acts.

He should be in politics. Mark Foley was...

And I clearly--and successfully--refuted it.

Let's see: that I'm a thief and a prick?

I noticed you didn't have anything to say about the nuggets or the 32 ounce Coke. Why not? Don't you consider that to be "stealing" as well?

Whether you get water or water and ice,
you're paying for the cup and the squirt of syrup.

They could give a rat's ass how you want your water - frozen or un-frozen.

Edit: and if I recall correctly, if you buy your sugar water inside at a chain food store you can refill that cup as many times as you want.

reminds me of the big "all you can eat" debate. . .

is it wrong if a group of people go to an "all you can eat" buffet. . .like they used to have @ Sizzler. ..

one person orders the "all you can eat" and the rest order a single dish. ..

they that person shares. ..including the "all you can eat" drink and dessert. ..

stealing?

I'm not making a judgement just bringin' the situation up. ..

BT, I guess I wasn't clear enough. It boils down to intent.

If you ask the barista for a shot of espresso, fine. Drink it from the shot cup.

If you order a shot of espresso in a Venti 20-ounce cup, with the intention of filling 19 ounces with "free" milk of half-and-half, you are being deceptive.

Clearly it is not "illegal". But it's called a ghetto latté for a reason.

Are you disparaging people who live in the ghetto?

Sounds pretty damned racist to me.

Keep digging....
