From the outset, I said the subject is political. Period. I defended that position with a comparable subject line using abortion instead of guns, and have not heard a response. Because it is NOT political, and your analogy while provocative and created to inflame, fell flat. Re: Sig or Glock? - Paul F. - 05-20-2007 You have not heard a response to your infantile bleating because it appears that virtually everyone else does not agree that this thread is political, and it also appears that we do not agree that your analogy is even remotely correct, or even particularly creative or interesting in the least. Hope that clears things up. Re: Sig or Glock? - Racer X - 05-20-2007 general question, I am looking into one of the small kahr 9mm or .40 with polymer frame and SS slide. Any opinions? My Ruger KP95 and S&W 439 are just too big. I looked into the S&W 669/6906 and it really isn't significantly smaller than either of the 9s I already have. Re: Sig or Glock? - jimbrady - 05-20-2007 Wow. I've been accused of drug use, lack of testicles and "infantile bleating." That's good stuff. Still haven't seen a response to the accusation of political thread. The CW-9 is a little bigger, and their 'cheap' model. $150 cheaper than the same sized one with more aesthetic work. The PM9/40 have had varying degrees of issues, from what I read. I went to a different gander with more P225/P6s today. They seem okay. Can't see anything wrong with them. Definitely on my list Re: Sig or Glock? - Racer X - 05-21-2007 two of my co-workers are FFL holders, so my price will be about as low as it can go, unless some dealers get a huge volume discount. I have been told that many in law enforcement in western Washington have a Kahr as their back-up. That says something. The CW9 or CW40 with a grip extension are what i am looking at. Re: Sig or Glock? - comphernation - 05-21-2007 The Kahr subforum on the GlockTalk Forums: http://glocktalk.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=111 has about the best info I've seen on the Kahrs. My MK9 has functioned flawlessly through 700+ rounds to date. From reading the Kahr threads, it seems the polymer models can be hit or miss in quality, great out of the box or back to the factory one or more times. The company does try its best to make it right. But the stainless steel models seem to have none of the problems; I'd buy another without question. FWIW, I had actually planned to buy a Sig P239 in 9mm when I came across the Kahr. It was a good choice for me. It has the small size I need, a very solid feel, and a butter-smooth trigger. Accuracy is outstanding. Try to shoot one if you can get the chance. Re: Sig or Glock? - Jp! - 05-21-2007 will do. |
