>>Look at ACORN for heaven's sake.

ACORN cooperates fully with any fraud investigations and no fraud has ever been proven above single bad employees.

Re: Franken pulls ahead in recount - MacGurl - 12-23-2008

Acorn = possible registration fraud. Mickey Mouse, even if registered, isn't going to be able to vote. Big deal.

LOL... you guys just don't connect the dots very well do you?

google ACORN suits. Browse around at the many RICO and other cases winding their way through courts for fraud.

No logic in comparing making things easier for voters to vote or people to own houses? When government makes things too easy for people the people tend to abuse it, work it, or corrupt it. From welfare to Medicare to Social Security, to voting to NINJA loans and on and on. If there is money or power involved, the system becomes corrupt or collapses in on itself.

I am glad I do not have such a negative view of the American people. No wonder you don't want everyone to have the ability to vote. We certainly don't want all these abusers and users to vote, now do we?

Lol - yeah, we're SO stoopid.
We bow down to your superior brain power.

Re: Franken pulls ahead in recount - kanesa - 12-23-2008

swampy, you have still failed to show me statistics on voter fraud. I have tried to find them but keep finding articles about how little voter fraud there is and how political parties use this topic for their own agendas. Please elaborate why you think there is voter fraud.

Re: Franken pulls ahead in recount - swampy - 12-23-2008

K "We certainly don't want all these abusers and users to vote, now do we?" No I don't. Please tell me why you favor fraudulent voting?

"you have still failed to show me statistics on voter fraud" The stats are not available for 2008 yet. Probably won't be until next spring. But I am sure you are aware of the ACORN registration frauds which does not lend confidence to the voting public that there wasn't proportional voter fraud. As in past elections, most voter fraud takes place with absentee ballots.

Please show me where I said I favored fraudulent voting. I believe a free society is only possible when all its citizens have the right to vote.

Please show me in any passed election the statistics on voter fraud. I did not specify the 2008 election.

"As in past elections, most voter fraud takes place with absentee ballots."

How do you know that? Are you just pulling that out of the air?

Re: Franken pulls ahead in recount - swampy - 12-24-2008

K..."Please show me where I said I favored fraudulent voting"... Ahem, something about your response "We certainly don't want all these abusers and users to vote, now do we?" That "now do we" sounded condescending to me so I took it to mean you did favor fraudulent voting.

Dennis... Why do I have to do all your research for you? It's really not that hard... You go to the Google search field and type in "absentee voter fraud". And look at that... It's from MSNBC!!! You can't argue one of your favorite liberal sources can you? Oh dear, did Swampy make you look like a fool?

Do absentee ballots facilitate fraud?
