I had many similar problems with that hub - went thru 2 hubs with the same problem. Finally returned them for credit and bought a 4 port Entegra - no problems since.

I was banished to the hinterlands during the night of the thousand Moons so my earlier records no longer exist. From a point of view of personal embarrassment, that's probably a good thing for me. Now what to do about the later records...

I found the site in the spring of '98. It was where I learned pretty much everything about Macs. And scored a great deal on an 8500 when CC was dumping their stock.
