Please define at what point you think they are using too much? Guess what- that is arbitrary.

BT, I guess I wasn't clear enough. It boils down to intent.
And YOU are the judge of "intent"?

BZZZT. Thanks for playing.

You lose.

[quote elmo3][quote herbiesyufy]No, Elmo...my point was made clearly and succinctly in my first post on the topic.
And I clearly--and successfully--refuted it.
No, you just tried to justify being a prick. Didn't work

Everything afterwards is only stating the obvious.

Let's see: that I'm a thief and a prick?
Yes. You finally got something right.

Now, go get your ghetto latté, your McNuggets and your Wendys Biggie meals.

I noticed you didn't have anything to say about the nuggets or the 32 ounce Coke. Why not? Don't you consider that to be "stealing" as well?
Nope! Two totally different things. If you buy McNuggets (which I don't, but hey, go ahead, fatty), then eat your McNuggets. If you buy a warm or cold 32 oz soda, drink it. (Fatty). But if you buy a shot of espresso, DON'T steal 19 ounces of half and half. (Fatty.)

Re: i guess it's now ok to steal from starbucks - elmo3 - 10-06-2006

But I thought it came down to INTENT.

I INTEND to take 32 ounces of soda from Wendy's. They INTEND to put 12 ounces of soda in that cup.

I am STEALING 20 ounces of soda from them, no?

Keep digging.....Oh, and the "thief" accusations just get this forum closer to being shut down. Keep going....

Never said I was the judge. YOU are the judge of your own intent. If you INTEND to steal from Starbucks, you're a thief. I won't be your judge. Loser.

Elmo, clearly you like playing word games.

You can justify being a prick all you like. At the end of the day, you're still you, living your life and eating your McNuggets with warm soda alone.

I didn't invent the term. It IS called a ghetto latté for a reason. if you don't LIKE the implication, don't drink it!

Never said I was the judge. YOU are the judge of your own intent.
You in FACT said you were the judge. You are calling anyone who does anything like this a thief. YOU are making the judgment.

And who are YOU to judge where the line is?

If you INTEND to steal from Starbucks, you're a thief. I won't be your judge. Loser.

Only Starbucks can determine where THEY consider the line. YOU can't. I can't.

And Starbucks does have responsibility, then, to maintain their business the way they see fit.

If STARBUCKS doesn't consider it "stealing," then who are YOU to judge?

And, prima facia, if Starbucks continues to put the condiments out there for anyone to use as he sees fit...then Starbucks doesn't have a problem with it.

Who are YOU to judge?

I imagine your only response will be to attack me personally.

You lose.

What reason is that?

Oh, I see--you can't tell us, not without showing your inherent racism.

Re: i guess it's now ok to steal from starbucks - SeattlePhotog - 10-06-2006

Prima facia? So now you're admitting to being a STUPID fat prick of a thief?!?

This gets better and better!

[quote elmo3]Are you disparaging people who live in the ghetto?

Sounds pretty damned racist to me.

Keep digging....
