Re: BHO is now OK to use his full name boys and girls! - MacGurl - 12-11-2008 Many of us don't go by our given names ever. Mine, for example, is Kathleen, which I don't use, but for legal/formal situations. Otherwise, I'm just Kathy. Doesn't make me bad or full of deception for doing so. Right? Re: BHO is now OK to use his full name boys and girls! - Filliam H. Muffman - 12-11-2008 I am not old enough to remember, but I was wondering, did not people make a point of including Fitzgerald when talking about Kennedy being a stooge for the Pope? Those dirty Irish were toing to run 'Merica, don'tcha know! (note: I have more Irish heritage than anything else). I see it as a similar type of insult whenever somone who rooted for McCain makes a point of including Hussein. Re: BHO is now OK to use his full name boys and girls! - $tevie - 12-11-2008 One of my brothers and one of my sisters both swore off the nickname version of their name, although my brothers has been less successful with his attempt. My sister will not answer you unless you use her formal first name, and hasn't since she left college. Until then she seemed fine with it, however she felt it was too childish for an adult. Re: BHO is now OK to use his full name boys and girls! - $tevie - 12-11-2008 I love the pancake bunnies. I want to bear their children! (SCTV reference) Re: BHO is now OK to use his full name boys and girls! - Gutenberg - 12-11-2008 So do pancake bunny babies have silver dollar pancakes on their heads? Re: BHO is now OK to use his full name boys and girls! - Rolando - 12-11-2008 I use the Spanish version of my name, rather than the English version my mother gave me. She only called me by my name in Spanish when I was in trouble. I started using it when I left my Majority Spanish speaking nest for the The Great White University. Chicks dig saying it. |
