I just checked. My earliest post over there was 9/22/00. I'm pretty sure I was over there before that, but I can't remember what other handle I may have used. There's your sign.

The earliest post I can find under the first nick I used was summer of '01. I know I was on earlier than that because I first started posting when we ran ethernet cable through my office in very late '99 or early '00.
I had a coworker who used to frequent the forum and I posted a couple times under his nick, which I can't remember.

Hmm...first post in 2002, but I had the front page bookmarked in at least '99, maybe earlier. I don't remember when I started lurking the forums. I first accessed the site via text through a freenet with telnet interface(!), but did not register for the forums until I had a real ISP.

Probably somewhere around 99. I was a mod on the "old" forum and guess I still am as I still get notices when people report a post even though I haven't logged in in years.
