And you wondered why I don't come here? With this level of discourse?

You should be ashamed.

With THIS level of discourse, why would anyone want you around?

Show some sophistication, folks. mrlynn is as left as they come-- just posting fanciful right-flavored fiction to have some fun.

Re: RIP , photojournalist James Foley - August West - 08-22-2014

Rumsfeld's PR campaign, the shifting narrative of his "Long War," has been long discredited and has actually led us to the troubles we enjoy today. The neocons unleashed a pandora's box that will last our lifetimes. Yeah, we won that long war against Saddam's WMD and incipient mushroom clouds, didn't we.

:barf:

Speaking of our buddy Rumsfeld, we finally watched "The Unknown Known". I got a bit of claustrophobia spending all that time in Rumsfeld's bubble. He certainly did not win me over. And that shit-eating grin, good heavens.

EDIT: just to be clear, I highly recommend the film. I just do not like the man!

Because you have to constantly defend your dogmatic outlook on life instead of having it confirmed?

LOL @ your thinking that 'high-level discourse' consists of posting meme images in an online forum.

Perhaps i should be ashamed, but you should definitely feel embarrassed. :jest:

Yes, that was a descent into low-level discourse. I did it as the obvious response to Speedy's snarky (and nasty) comment, "People around the world loved and respected Pres. Bush so much, Pres. Obama was given the Nobel Peace Prize for being not Pres. Bush."
