I cite this document because it leads me to believe that Obama became an Indonesian citizen under Indonesian law when his stepfather registered him as an Indonesian using Barry Soetoro as his legal name.
I'm not disputing that Obama might have been born in Hawaii as much as disputing the fact that we don't know. He might have been born on the moon, but we don't know because his mother could, under law, apply for a Certification of Live Birth (if he was born in Kenya) for up to a year. In this case there would be a short form because there would be no named hospital of birth, and lack the doctor and witness signatures. He gets the Certificantion (short) form based on his MOTHER's citizenship, but not necessarily a designation of 'natural born' if no one can attest to where in Hawaii he was born.
I'll really muddy up the water and say that even "Fight the Smears" claimed that Obama was a Kenyan citizen by virtue of his Father.

Before you get your panties in a wad... I recognize that his Kenyan "citizenship" expired, but I just want clarification. WHO is BHO? Why all the obfuscation, sealing records, disowning his past?

This reminds me of my first home inspection.
The inspector didn't find a crack in the foundation. He didn't find major stuctural problems. No termite infestation. He didn't declare the house was going to burn down unless the entire electrical system was replaced. He didn't find mold or radon gas.
I was pissed. I still want my money back.

I think there is a very distinct possibility of the latter. It's a little hard to accept that someone who in some respects seems basically together enough could be that obtuse.
