Define "low price"?

$110 is about average

Under $100. I could probably do without firewire to drop cost.

If you just want USB 2, you could find single bay cases for $10 at newegg. are you sure you want/NEED eSATA?

Yeah, I need eSata for speed, and i prefer a dual bay as I dont want to keep adding enclosures as the setup is fairly visible and looks like crap to begin with.

If you have to have eSata, just go ahead and buy a 5 bay port multiplying enclosure for @ $200 and be done with it.

Any recommendations on one of these? That actually might be a good way to go for me.

if you can scrape up the cash and convince yourself, you might also consider a readynas. the older nv+ models go for about $250. you're reading speed for reliability and expandability. the nvx is more than twice the price but speedy speedy.

I already have a Synology 207+ NAS. If I was going to get another NAS, it would be another Synology. Reall happy with this one.
