keep the geese away - bazookaman - 07-11-2010 we have a ton of geese in the pond behind our house. consequently we have a ton of geese poop everywhere. is there something that we can put on or around the immediate area behind our house to keep them away? Re: keep the geese away - Grace62 - 07-11-2010 At a golf course near our house they use a border collie to chase the geese away. She never barks and doesn't hurt the geese, but they take off if they see her coming and over time pretty much don't come back much. She also knows not to chase mallards or other birds, just those pesky Canadians. May not be practical for you, but I've seen it work! Good luck!
