Just felt the gound shake.... - mikebw - 07-16-2010

In Maryland. Never felt an earthquake before but if I had to guess I just felt a small one. Enough to wake me up, seemed to last for about 5 seconds.

Yup, woke up me and the kids. Kids thought it was thunder, my wife and I weren't sure until I turned on the news. 3.6. Small for you California folk, just plain weird here in the Nation's Capital.

A 15 second, rolling sonic boom sort of event.
I thought the mighty Habu was back in the air Confusedecret:

Mother earth in flux.... good to know it is/was of low magnitude and all is well. Most folks pay a good deal of $ for Mr Toads Wild Ride *(:>*

A 3.6 isn't enough to wake up for.

If you felt an earthquake this small, you must live at the epicenter.
