Negative personal comments have gotten qualitatively worse - Ted King - 10-27-2010
Seems like recently negative personal comments in this forum have gotten qualitatively worse (which is saying a lot). It seems to be what some people really desire to get out of posting here, but it's a big turn-off for me. I think I'll take a break from the forum for awhile.

It's not going to get any better, you know. As long as there are people for whom you can post three to five links to clarify something for them and they just come back again and again with the same dumb questions, other people are going to get frustrated and become rude and that's just the way it is.

This has happened at election time at every forum I've ever been involved with, as the election date draws closer tempers get harsher. It usually subsides after the election.

I'm not the only one, I'm simply the most direct one. I don't suffer fools gladly and I'm not ashamed of it.
